We are at a critical point in history and many people are gathering for prayer, repentance and revival. We typically repent for personal sin and also national sin, but I believe our greatest need at this time is for the church to repent as well. She promotes many doctrines that are inconsistent with God’s truth and the teachings of Jesus which has produced complacency in the church and in her children as well.
This message will identify these doctrines by using an “ask and answer” format.
I begin this message by saying: truth is food for the soul – and faith is fuel for the spirit. Read the scriptures, search the scriptures and let the Holy Spirit guide you in all truth.
Question #1: Is Jesus God? [pause] When I ask this question, the answer reveals two types of Christians: A) those who say yes immediately because they know the scriptures and have a personal relationship with Jesus, and B) those who hesitate and need to think about it. Jesus commanded us to make disciples that know the truth, not members that are uncertain about God’s identity and God’s truth. This hesitancy produces complacency. Jesus is God! Jesus is Lord. Jesus is Lord Almighty (2 Cor. 6:18; Gen. 17:1).
Question #2: Did Jesus pray [“to”] the Father? No! Search the scriptures. Jesus is God and God does not pray to God. How illogical to think otherwise. The scriptures say Jesus prayed “the Father” and “called on Him” to teach us how to pray (John 14:16).
#3 So I ask: Did Jesus ever promise us heaven? No! Jesus created us to have dominion over the earth (Gen. 1:26); earth is our rightful place and proper domain – and attaining heaven was not part of that plan unless you are a martyred disciple. He promised faithful followers and disciples they will receive life eternal in a “topos’ place (John 14:3) called Paradise on the New Earth.
Jesus said: “Repent. The kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matt. 4:17). He was standing on earth when He said this, and then some time later He said: “The kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21). Search the scriptures and then ask Jesus what He meant by this.
#4 Does everyone with saving faith enter heaven? No! Jesus said many will seek to enter in, but few are able (Luke 13:24). Ministers contradict Jesus by teaching churchgoers during funeral services saying – they are in heaven with Jesus – and this is why a great majority believe they will go to heaven. Why is that? Because this is what they say about everyone and they believe the minister’s message even though it is inconsistent with God’s truth! Read Romans 11:22! Consider this: is Jesus in your heart? If yes, that’s great. Jesus said He will never leave you or forsake you, so… why do you need to go anywhere in order to go where Jesus is… if Jesus abides in your heart through faith? Besides, think about this: how can you be in heaven if you haven’t even been resurrected yet? Search the scriptures! The resurrection is a four-step process that includes judgment which happens in the heart of the earth.
#5 Was Jesus resurrected? No! Jesus “IS” the resurrection! He called Himself “the resurrection and the life” in (John 11:25). Jesus raised Himself from the dead (John 10:18) because Jesus is God, and if Jesus is in your heart, then the Resurrection is already “in” you… it just hasn’t happened yet. Three angelic encounters on the third day all proclaimed: “He is risen” (not resurrected). There is one mention in our bible of Jesus being resurrected, but it is an inaccurate translation of the Greek. Search the scriptures! And search the Greek as well. More details are provided in this website on this topic.
#6 Did Jesus promise the resurrection of the body? No! He promised the resurrection of the dead, but the institutional church introduced a doctrine 1,630 years ago into the Apostle’s Creed about the resurrection of the body that was not based upon scripture or the teachings of Jesus or the Nicene Creed. So I ask: if you believe you go to heaven after your body dies, then I have two questions: 1) do the scriptures tell you how you get there, and 2) do the scriptures tell you how you get back to earth for the judgment and resurrection? Ponder that!
#7 Did Jesus descend into Hell? No! Hell is a place created by God that represents the absence of God (for people who do not want to love God and be with Him) and Jesus would never go there because… Jesus is God. The Apostle’s Creed, however, created a doctrine that contradicts the place Jesus went… “He descended into the lower parts” (Eph. 4:9) which includes Hades. Hades is not Hell. The church refuses to teach about many spiritual places in the heart of the earth, such as Hades, Death, Tartaros) – or Outer Darkness – just to name a few.
“Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?” (Eph. 4:9).
#8 What day did Jesus rise from the dead? Our Easter doctrines teach Sunday morning, but that is false. Jesus said He would be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights (Matt. 12:40). The scriptures are exceedingly clear – Jesus was crucified on Friday, but when Mary Magdalene got to the tomb before the sun came up (before the third day began; John 20:1), it was empty… so, where is the missing day??? [pause] The institutional church has yet to explain this disparity after 2,000 years because the church created a false “heaven-only” doctrine to explain where we go after the body dies – and then it created uncertainty about where (and when) Jesus descended into “the lower parts” (Eph. 4:9). For starters, the tomb is not the heart of the hearth. Hades is the heart of the earth and Jesus was in Hades three days and three nights – which means… Jesus rose from the dead on Friday – day one – soon after the stone was rolled into place whereby He descended into Hades to share the Good News with those souls. He came up from Hades at least twice on Sunday to minister to Mary Magdalene and two disciples on the road to Emmaus, then Jesus went back to Hades and continued ministering to souls into early evening (the night of “the third day”). Then “after three days rise again” (Mark 8:31) is when Jesus ascended into heaven. Later that same night, He descended into a locked upper room (John 20:19) to show Himself to His disciples. All this happened “the third day” but the church teaches a double-false narrative to promote the resurrection of Jesus which they claim happened Sunday morning. ARGH!!!
This is the single greatest day in heaven-earth history, but the church failed to get Easter right.
The church has created many false narratives… and the church needs to repent! The church must awaken from her slumber! Authentic disciples want authentic truth. This message about Easter is a brief synopsis of a 15-page teaching in book #14.
When Jesus walked among His people, Jesus wanted His disciples to understand His message, but they couldn’t because their hearts were hardened from too much toxic theology. The church has done the exact same thing Judaism did to harden people’s hearts… and the church needs to repent.
This is the truth: Jesus never promised you heaven. Jesus created you: A) to have dominion over the earth, B) to take authority over principalities and powers that wage war against the kingdom of God, C) to establish the kingdom of heaven on earth like Jesus did, and D) to put His enemies under your feet with His authority and His power in His name to advance His kingdom on earth!
The spirit of religion bamboozled the church to seek heaven more than hosting the presence of Jesus in our heart… whereby the church has forsaken her first love: Jesus – and she must repent (Rev. 2:4).
Jesus did not come to make a way for us to enter heaven. Jesus came to get the culture of heaven into us so we could effect a regime change from darkness to light!!! Heaven – is wherever King Jesus is! Is Jesus truly in your heart?
Jesus sent us here to establish the kingdom of heaven on earth – through the church (Eph. 3:9, 10) – and the church needs to wake up. The church needs revelation. The church needs reformation. The church needs to be born anew – with revival fire! The church model has been broken for centuries because she forgot the reason Jesus established the church: to make war against spiritual principalities and powers of darkness on earth… and establish the kingdom of heaven on earth just like Jesus did. He sent us here to have dominion over the earth – and take back what rightfully belongs to Him. This is the Lord’s plan for mankind: He has given the earth to the children of men (Psa. 115:16) to steward under His authority in partnership with Him.
I end this message to simply say: the narrative the institutional church taught you about Jesus – and your reason for being here – is too small! You were sent here as a worshiping warrior – as one member of an invading army (the host of earth; Gen. 2:1) to take authority over the darkness. Search the scriptures, keep your eyes focused on Jesus – the King of Heaven, hear His voice and then do what He tells you.
The church has been building “its kingdom” rather than the Lord’s kingdom because she has forsaken her First Love: Jesus… and the church needs to repent!
